• Header Tags – always use either “H1” or “H2” or both tags for major pages. Text within the header tags will be emphasized in the Search Engine Result Page if the page has been indexed.
• Image Alternate Text Tags – use the “IMG” tag and include your targeted keyword to describe the image.
• Image Filename – the filename of the images should also contain keywords you are optimizing for.
• Title of the Page and Post – every page and post should have their own keyword rich title within the “Title” tag.
• Keyword Density – each page and post shout not contain over 5% targeted keyword, or else your site will looks spamy.
• The First Sentence and the First Word – include your targeted keyword in the “first” sentence and if possibly make it as your “first” word.
• Outbound Link – websites that will be linked to must be optimized too. Don’t exchange link to the website that has not been optimized.
• Meta Descriptions – all pages and post should have their own “meta keywords’ and “meta description” tags, and if possible they may also have a “meta robot” tag.
• The Folder, Page, and Post – all pages and posts titles should be optimized too, and must be keyword rich. Same too when naming a folder. (i.e. www.domain.com/keyword _rich_folder/keyword_rich_filename.html)
• Same Site Links URLs and Texts – use descriptive text link when making a link to your other pages or posts.
